Individualized approaches that CNAs and other staff members can attempt to help calm the resident will also be reviewed.
Learning objectives:
Participants will understand how to deal with severe behaviors Nurses will understand the importance of meeting with CNA staff daily to inform them of residents with behaviors and how to deal with them Physicians and nurses will understand the requirement for
documentation whenever a new behavior occurs, and whether or not the care plan was effective All staff will understand the importance of having a care plan that is specific and individualized to the behaviors of residents with dementia or other behavioral problems
The webinar is approved for 1.00 CEU credit for nursing home administrators, directors of nursing, and nurses.
