Covid 19 Update: Kentucky Breast Care and Somerset Family Imaging have been closed for the past 2 weeks, but we have been making some improvements to help our patients and staff be safe, in addition to following the CDC guidelines.

We wanted you to know that we have installed UV lights in our air conditioning ducts to kill viruses. We have also redesigned our processes such that only 3-4 patients should be in the clinic at any point in time, often in different rooms. Our staff wear masks and gloves when interacting with patients, and we are sterilizing much more frequently.

Even with these precautions, we are only seeing patients that REALLY need us right now, and we have postponed non-emergent screenings and procedures.

Please be patient and understand that we are doing all we can to help as many people as possible. If you do come to our clinic, we ask that you be sensitive to the health care workers, because they are trying their best to support our community.

We are looking for an experienced Mammography/CT Technologist who (with limited supervision) executes radiographic examinations with attention to detail and dedication to quality imaging. This technologist must be capable of working alone to review the order, obtain the patient history, perform the exam with reformatting and verifying all images successfully sent to PACS.

This is an outpatient clinic with no night call, no week end call and no holiday call.

Additional responsibilities of the job posted:

1. Maintain a professional, clean and orderly Mammography/CT suite, including inventory reports weekly.

2. Adherence to dress code and personal behavior.

3. Maintain QA of Mammography/CT machine and immediately report any and all concerns, potential concerns, potential malfunctions, including management personnel, in an immediate matter.

4. Collects patient histories and other pertinent information, coordinating and communicating with the radiologist and all other team staff, as needed.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

1. ARRT certified with active license and in good standing with the state of Kentucky.

2. Current BCLS certification (or if not current, becomes current within 60 days of hire).
