Don't know how we got here, but let's put an end to it, get more babes on b**b and less fresh Mamas struggling to get the connection made.

Being comfortable is such a big obstacle when nursing and all these crazy holds require pillows and props to get you there. Don't get me wrong, Love a pillow under the elbow to take the weight off, but it's not required. Also why I love side lying so much. You eat and then we snuggle sleep. Anyways....if you aren't comfortable, it can be really difficult to fully open yourself up to connecting with baby. A lot of Mom's are closed off, physically, emotionally and energetically to baby because nursing became more clinical, box to check, instead of this beautiful bonding, heart opening and melting experience.

When you have your heart closed off, its so much harder to open it again, especially when you have whispers around you talking about weight gains and supplementing, pumping on the side..... It spirals, making it harder to open up and get back to just b**b. And then the pain from latching and the blooming, how can you even deal when you don't get the oxytocin hit because you're looking at nursing as a box to check off? It's no wonder there's a big drop off after 6 months of breastfeeding, if this is just a job for you to grind through, it's amazing you make it that long.

So, in a loving way, looking at you lactation consultants.....how do we fix this? I strongly feel the brain squishing needs to stop. Not even sure how that c head hold became a thing in the first place. Why are women being told to touch soft spots on their newborn?

For a CST practitioner, not all are created equal, recommend checking the upledger institute therapist search for someone trained in conception, pregnancy and birth.

This made me cry 💙

The first time I ever experienced Craniosacral Therapy it was like the sun just turned on and I had to know more. Here I am, 6 classes later, hours of sessions, hundreds of bodies, with a focus in pediatrics and womens health, still feeling that I've barely scratched the surface of this work.

Every time I apply this modality it's like life makes sense again, not just for me, but the person receiving also. They get clarity, actual answers, heard by the practitioner they're seeing, direction, and hope that things can change for the better.

I love love love this work 💙

We talk about hormones. We talk about stress. We talk about gut health.
But almost no one says this out loud: sometimes the uterus itself needs to be checked.

If you’re dealing with anything from frequent colds, chronic fatigue, pelvic pain, painful periods, digestive issues, to fertility challenges—your womb might be part of the conversation, even if no one has ever suggested that before.

The uterus isn’t just a reproductive organ. It’s a structural, vascular, lymphatic, neurological, and energetic center in the body.

When it’s out of alignment or restricted, it doesn’t just stay local—it can ripple into your posture, breath, digestion, hormones, nervous system, emotions, and energy.
In other words: when the womb is off, your whole system has to adapt around it—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

This is where supportive care can matter, like:
• Arvigo Mayan Abdominal Massage
• Working with someone trained in pregnancy and pelvic work through the Upledger Institute
• A skilled pelvic floor PT
• Or practitioners who specialize in womb care

✨ Notice your own body.
✨ Share this with a friend who’s been chasing symptoms without real answers.

If this made you pause or rethink something about your body, that’s worth listening to.

Something I think about a lot, but I'm at the point of actually shifting and changing, so spam me with all your thoughts and opinions, I need data to process 😅

Not a new concept right...this comes up a lot depending on your algorithm. But as I give time to think about this, the next thing comes up and the thoughts never come to completion and change is never made. After 5 years of kid birthdays, I'm ready to switch gears but still not sure where to start.

From a maturation aspect, we don't really send people on walk a bouts anymore to come back as an adult in society, albeit, I'm it against that, just want something to reflect our modern world a bit more.

Just over here trying to get more muchness out of life, so buckle up family, we making changes 💙

This vibe 💙 kids have played outside, snow berries on the wool melting by the fire, boots and other accessories drying on the railing. Insert cups of hot coco, some snuggle time and a movie that fades into naps.

Anyone have a good kid friendly adventure movie to watch? Preferably something older, because better story and lower stim 🙃

Because even though it's more of a commercialized observance, what better way to spend it then with some self care time with your sisters 💙

I like the idea of gathering closer to the midway point of the season BUT life has other plans. Also available Saturday the 21st, so let me know if you'd like to reserve your spot and which date. I'm down to host it twice if there's enough.

🍯My inspiration for getting into these electuaries was to make cough drop gifts that didn't kill honey and I found this concept... and so happy about it. Thus the Cold Shield electuary was born, to help your immune system this gathering season.

I couldn't stop at one recipe though, they're just too fun to make and sooooo tasty.
