Dr. Kirsten demonstrates Active Assisted Shoulder Range of Motion to improve reaching. Grab a light dowel or broom stick and stretch the affected shoulder with assistance from the unaffected side. Work on stretching straight up into flexion as well as out to the side.

Dr. Alison demonstrates thoracic extension using a foam roller. First, lie on foam roller with arms behind head end arch your back over the roller as a stretch. Then, you can roll along the foam roller up and down along the thoracic spine to improve mobility!

Dr. Alison demonstrates 2 variations of a pec stretch using a doorway. Holding your arms in a doorway, step one foot forward and hold for 30 seconds. Repeat 2-3 times. Try this stretch if you are having pain due to poor posture with computer work.

Dr. Kirsten demonstrates the open book stretch - to improve rotation and thoracic mobility.
Start lying on your side with arms outstretched, stacked on top of eachother. Twist and open your top arm up and over, following with your head and eyes. Hold for one second, then return to starting position. Try 2x10 each side to improve thoracic rotation.
