✔️ Always improving ourselves!
Our Faculty Team recently received training in the use of the Nursing “Anne” Healthcare Simulator. This mannequin is used to simulate patient conditions, such as a lack of vital signs, pulse, pulmonary congestion, bleeding, breathing, and more. 🩺 This high-tech, state-of-the-art equipment has a monitor that receives all the information collected by participants with a stethoscope, thermometer, and other equipment, so that students can make decisions and care for the patient.
In addition, the mannequin has programmed reactions such as coughing, or choking, and responding yes or no, so that participants know how to react professionally in a real-life scenario. 😎
