This is a 60-minute gentle yoga practice to work on mental focus and body awareness - the simple, mostly seated postures are great for those with limited mobility or recovering from injury. Practice begins seated in our chairs with focusing, meditation, and pranayam (breathwork). We will warm up with seated Sun Salutations, and then explore movements to lubricate our joints, build flexibility and coordination. We will do standing balancing poses using the chair for support and close with meditation and pranayam. This class is open to yogis of all levels. Sign up

When anxiety creeps in, I tune in to my breath, slowing down and balancing the length of the inhales with the length of exhales. Eyes closed or focused the sky, a tree, even houseplant. These reminders of the wisdom and wonder of nature help me to find peace.
