New Moon in Leo Collective Card Reading 🌙✨ Six of Thunder, Seed of Cups, Nine of Cups

Damn, Leo energy is so refreshing! And yet, we are definitely still being called to integrate the lessons of Cancer Season. This watery pull reflects that balance as we move from one sign to another. We start with the Seed (Page) of Cups. What does your inner child need to feel safe enough to come out and play? Where can you return to joy, whimsy, and lightness to help you float through life with a little more ease? If there are creative projects, intuitive practices, or moments where you can just be silly that are calling your name, let yourself dive in and explore that wholeheartedly.

To help, the Six of Thunder (Swords), our travel card, comes in with a message on shifting our perspective. Whether you’re able to take a big vacation or just carve out some extra time for a mini-adventure, doing things differently helps stir us out of our comfort zone enough to feel the winds of good change at our backs. Allow yourself to trust in life to carry you forward, giving yourself the chance to see things in a new and different way.

The Nine of Cups rounds us out, bringing in that big Leo energy once again that encourages imagination, romanticizing your life, and wishing with wild abandon. Let yourself want what you want. Your desires are valid, but they also need time to incubate in the realm of daydreams and fantasy. It is not silly to let yourself get your hopes up. Let that heartfelt drive and yearning for growth lead you to wherever you are meant to be, but give yourself enough space to let things naturally unfold.

With the New Moon in Leo on July 24—conjunct the Sun newly in Leo—we could feel like a solar flare ready to burst out and shoot across the sky. Trine Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries, there is a tremendous amount of fire energy at our disposal, but it may feel a bit stifled, like it’s bubbling beneath the surface with nowhere to go. Sextile Uranus in Gemini, we are just starting to get our feet wet in a new cycle of lessons around using our words to change the course of history. There is so much power ready to be unleashed as we begin to expose what has been hidden or unspoken, within ourselves and in the world at large. We were born to be leaders, to stretch our understanding through artistry and creation, in whatever kaleidoscope of talents we each have to share. How can you find satisfaction in honing those gifts as you wait for the internal green light to share them with the world?

Opposite Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, these are tumultuous and often frightening times, but we have a responsibility to pick up the pieces of what’s falling apart and make something new and beautiful with it. That is what we came here to do. Whether it’s a new play that helps reshape the conversation, or an organizing strategy that sets the tone for the next big shift in our consciousness, know that every thread matters in the tapestry we are simultaneously unraveling and reweaving.

Let your heart’s wisdom rise above whatever noise tries to tempt you into giving up. May we continue to be courageous. May we love this work enough to see it through. 🌙✨

Full Moon in Capricorn Collective Card Reading 🌕✨ Five of Stones, Seed of Thunder, The Lovers

The Seed of Thunder (Page of Swords) wants us to know that we are ready to share our truth in new ways and on a deeper level than ever before. Whatever words, visions, or ideas have been brewing in your mind and heart, it’s time to give them shape. Artists, inventors, creators: this is our time. And guess what? That’s all of us. Every single one of us has some wisdom that is needed in the story that makes up our collective existence. What will you contribute? Can you allow yourself to put aside your fears of beginning and finally take the leap?

The Five of Stones (Pentacles) reminds us that we don’t have to have everything we think we need in order to be ready for the next step. If you’re lacking something tangible, ask for help, and know that it is your birthright to receive and be held by community. We are never alone, and whatever you are trying to grow is important to those who care about you as well. Whether it’s something external or internal, know that you’ve already planted the seeds that will begin to sprout the more you nurture them and seek support.

The Lovers insists that we are love, at our essence, at our core, and that remembering this simple truth is the most crucial ingredient we need to move forward. We are all worthy and deserving of love, because it is what we are, plain and simple. Can we embody this truth in a more solid and unshakable way as we integrate the energy of this full moon? Can we practice mirroring to others how beautiful and lovable they are, and receive it in return?

May our purpose be grounded in the magic of our heart’s knowing that we all have a sacred role to play, and that together, we can write a new chapter in the story of our world.

The Full Moon in Capricorn on July 10—opposite the Sun in Cancer—wants us to take our goals seriously.

Trine Mars and the South Node in Virgo, we could feel revved up and ready for action, or at least in the mood to put a strong plan together. It’s time to commit to your mission, your passion, your purpose. If you’ve been feeling lots of little signs from the universe urging you to try the thing, it’s time to try the thing! But this time, refuse to do it in the same old tired way that never got you as far as you know you can go.

This is the moon to lock in, devote yourself to your sacred work, and decide what it will take to make it happen without torturing yourself for not having every detail figured out yet. The best place to start is exactly where you are.

Sextile the North Node in Pisces, we are meant to be learning big lessons right now. If you feel like there are pieces of your identity that are just melting away, trust that it’s because you’re waking up to the next version of you. The discomfort of pushing through the chrysalis to slough off the goo and transform into the butterfly is worth it. Remember that you never have to do it alone.

Square Chiron in Aries, your old wounds might try to dial up the noise on your inner critic. Don’t listen to that BS. You are here, now, in this moment, and you are ready.

Uranus will also shift into Gemini on July 7, beginning a new seven-year journey of revolutionary change in the areas of communication, curiosity, and community. It’s time to tell a new story, loves. New Moon in Cancer Collective Card Reading 🌙✨ Four of Stones, Seed of Thunder, The Unseen

The Seed of Thunder (Page of Swords) asks us to take the leap and trust that we know a whole lot more than we think we do. All of the Pages call us to be a student of life in some way, to swim into new territory or dive deeper to reach new levels of growth. Here, in the realm of communication and ideas, how might we give voice to something important that’s been bubbling up within us? The New Moon is always a good time to work with the seeds of our intentions. With so much love and tenderness, can you allow yourself to speak, write, or share whatever message has been brewing within your heart?

The Four of Stones (Pentacles) invites us to surrender to physical rest. Cancer energy loves a cocoon, a warm blanket, or a day all to ourselves. Where can you carve out some extra space to let yourself discover what matters most to you right now? Boundaries are very important, especially when we are feeling so much. Protecting your energy is never selfish. Figure out the balance of what you have to give and what you need to save for your own well-being.

The Unseen is a very special card from The Gentle Tarot by , the gorgeous deck I am always so honored to use in my readings. This card represents the ancestral presence, spiritual guidance, and divine support that is always with us, surrounding us, holding us throughout our lives. Know that you are unconditionally loved and cared for way beyond what your eyes can see. In this time of incredible dissolution and transformation, we are called to trust even more that there is something much bigger guiding us through. The more we listen, the more we will be able to heed its message.

May we remember that Spirit is us, and we are Spirit. May we allow ourselves to hear the wisdom rising up through the waves. May we be brave and vulnerable enough to follow the call wherever it takes us.

With the New Moon in Cancer on June 25—conjunct the Sun and Jupiter in Cancer—there is a tremendous pull to dive deep into the sea of our emotions and return to the nest of our hearts. Sextile Mars in Virgo, we could feel a renewed sense of devotion to our healing journey, both as individuals and on a larger scale. Virgo and Cancer energy together make for a beautiful collaboration. We are called to parent ourselves with grace even as we gently push outside our comfort zones.

Square Saturn and Neptune in Aries, this is a great time to commit to a new routine, spiritual practice, or creative project that will sustain you for the long haul. We have the chance to look in the mirror and decide which parts of our identity still feel true and what is ready to be surrendered for something more authentic and aligned. Soft self-love rituals, copious amounts of journaling, and swimming or bathing as we set our intentions are highly encouraged.

Remember that our benevolent ancestors always want what’s best for us. Thank you to each sweet soul who joined our free monthly Virtual Reiki Circle last night. It was so special as always. One of the strongest messages that came through for the group was the lesson of the lotus, which of course made me think of Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings of “No Mud, No Lotus.”

He says, “It is possible of course to get stuck in the ‘mud’ of life. It’s easy enough to notice mud all over you at times. The hardest thing to practice is not allowing yourself to be overwhelmed by despair. When you’re overwhelmed by despair, all you can see is suffering everywhere you look. You feel as if the worst thing is happening to you. But we must remember that suffering is a kind of mud that we need in order to generate joy and happiness. Without suffering, there’s no happiness. So we shouldn’t discriminate against the mud. We have to learn how to embrace and cradle our own suffering and the suffering of the world, with a lot of tenderness.”

May we continue to find the magic in the mud, to know that even the hardest times have the opportunity for creation and joy to bloom forth. Hope to see you again next month, friends. Take care 🤍✨

Full Moon in Sagittarius Collective Card Reading 🌕✨ The Moon, Ten of Stones, Two of Cups

Ten of Stones (Pentacles) is a bit of a thinker for this fiery Sag moon. The need for grounding makes perfect sense as we are catapulted daily into new iterations of transformation, painted in shades of violence, destruction, and necessary revolution. How can we touch in with what is true? What keeps us feeling solid, tethered to our sense of home and community when it feels like the ground is constantly being shaken beneath us? It’s time to dig deep into our spiritual reserves, to find the strength and inner knowing that will keep us rooted to our purpose. Know that all of our efforts now will continue to ripple well into the future, creating a more beautiful life for all beings here on Earth.

The Moon asks us to accept that we don’t have all the answers yet, that we can’t possibly know how everything will turn out, and to let that be okay. It doesn’t mean excusing harm or dismissing the urgent need for action, but it does encourage us to cultivate more patience for ourselves, each other, and the process. There are treasures beneath the surface; there is healing within the pain. We are on our way. Our job is to not look away, to keep going, and to take care of ourselves and each other the best we can.

Two of Cups brings it back to our own hearts and encourages us to foster radical levels of unconditional love for our own complicated, messy, perfectly imperfect selves. The more we can knock down the walls around the parts of ourselves that we tend to reject or withhold from love, the more capacity we’ll have to love others unreservedly, and to do whatever we can to help.

Be gentle, gentle, gentle, friends. We are in this together, all of us with roles to play and gifts to offer in these times. We are here for a reason. Sending waves of love and support to you always. May we be safe. May we be held. May we be free. 💗🦋
