UPDATE: The highest bid was $1,510 - truck sold.

Taking sealed bids on a 1999 Ford Ranger (as is). Bids will be accepted until Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and dropped off at the Somerville Town Hall during business hours. The truck is located at 3981 Highway 67 in Somerville.

Same goes for Somerville Police Department- we will not call you to collect for warrants or fines.

PLEASE READ: Law Enforcement does not call you about warrants. Warrants and charges can not go away by paying money.

Last week a resident reported losing $813,000.00 to a scammer posing as law enforcement and claiming they had Federal Warrants and Charges. They made payments totaling $813,000.00 from January to May.

This week a resident reported losing $15,000.00 to a scammer posing as law enforcement and claiming they had Warrants and Charges.

These are scams. EVERY TIME! Do not give money to anyone claiming to be Law Enforcement over the phone....ever....PLEASE!

Reminder:
1️⃣Law Enforcement does not handle business over the phone
2️⃣You can not pay to have a warrant go away
3️⃣You may know this, but tell yiur family members
4️⃣When in doubt, hang up
