This is what 50 Years Old looks like.
As I reflect over my life
Born to a young mother,
Ridiculed and discriminated against,
Fights and bad decisions,
Car with no AC,
Serious car accidents,
Backstabbed and plotted against,
Cotton chopping, junk hauling, grocery store boy!
But God.
Made my mother a teacher and a preacher,
Gave me opportunity after opportunity using my brain,
Removed me from dangerous situations,
Gave me the ability to choose which car I want to drive on what day,
Opened my eyes to learn that when people show you who they are, believe them.
Made me a physician, a landlord, a shade tree mechanic, a carpenter, a part-time electrician, an HVAC guy when necessary, a home builder, and a business owner.
You know my glory, but you didn’t know my
As I sit with tears in my eyes, a healthy God-fearing man, husband of one wife for 25 years, father of three beautiful children and a son that my parents don’t have to be ashamed of. Thank you Lord for this day.
Yes the office is open. Stephanie is filling in on Monday and Tuesday.
