Mt Fuji & Lakes Region was breathtaking 😮‍💨🇯🇵

Spent the day exploring the 5 Lakes area and somehow timed it perfectly with cherry blossoms in full bloom 🌸

From walking through beautiful gardens with Mt Fuji in the background to hopping on a Hello Kitty speed boat (yes, actually 😂), it was one of those days that didn’t feel real.

Climbed what felt like hundreds of steps up to Arakurayama Sengen Park for those unreal views, then made our way through Oshino Hakkai and its crystal clear water and traditional village feel.

Peaceful, scenic, and honestly just stunning everywhere you looked. ✨

Hiroshima & Miyajima day 🇯🇵

Started the day in Miyajima with a local guide, walking through streets where deer casually roam and are treated like royalty 🦌 Got to see the famous shrine sitting right in the water and had one of those quiet, take it all in kind of moments.

Had okonomiyaki for lunch and now I fully understand the hype 😮‍💨 also learned some cool local history, including where the rice spoon originated.

Then the day took a more serious turn as we headed to Peace Memorial Park and the Children’s Monument. Hearing the story of the 10,000 cranes in person is something that really stays with you.

A day that was both beautiful and heavy, but one I’m really glad we experienced. 🫶🏼

While boston is about to be celebrating japanese culture, i’m over here actually walking through it… temples, street food, cherry blossoms, all of it 🌸

Feels like one of those “you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be” moments 🎋🇯🇵

Keys are officially in hand 🥂🤍🔑

This one did not come easy. The search for the right family home in Milton meant navigating a seriously competitive market where homes move fast and almost always over ask. We put in strong offers, waived contingencies, and still came up short more than once.

This time, we came in ready. Mortgage already in underwriting, contractor at the first showing, and a strategic, aggressive offer with a quick three week close… and it landed! ✨🙌🏼

The home needs some updates, but my buyers already have an incredible renovation plan in place and a vision for what this space will become 😍

Next up, we shift gears and get their South End condo sold so the move to the burbs will be complete!

Kyoto, you were unreal 🥹🎎

From the Nintendo Museum to street art around every corner, there was always something catching our eye. Cherry blossoms were still hanging on just enough for us 🌸

We even squeezed in a photoshoot… those will be making their debut on the holiday card so stay tuned 👀

Days were spent wandering through shrines, temples, and pagodas just taking it all in 🙏🏼 Nights were filled with way too much wagyu and Kobe (no regrets) 🥩

Somehow we ended up at a show we definitely didn’t plan on 💃 and stumbled on one of the coolest outdoor art museums just by wandering

And of course… we left with katanas and throwing stars for the nephews 😂⚔️

Kyoto is one of those places you don’t really explain… you just experience it!

Tokyo really lived up to everything we hoped for 🇯🇵✨

Quick and easy connection through Montreal and we were in the city. Our stay at Bvlgari was the perfect mix of luxury and convenience.

We walked everywhere and explored Shibuya, Ginza, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Meguro, Chiyoda, Chuo, Azabudai Hills, Asakusa and Omotesando. Each one had its own vibe.

And of course cherry blossoms 🌸 we chased them all over Tokyo and they didn’t disappoint.

The food was unreal. 🍣 Sushi, ramen, soba, sake tastings, Tsukiji market finds like king crab and the best strawberries 🍓, and yes even Michelin star pizza. Some bites were a little questionable but that is part of the experience 😂
