JFS is seeking a Coordinator, Senior Friendly Visiting Program & Outpatient Therapist
Job Description
Coordinator, Senior Friendly Visiting & Outpatient Therapist, provides services for adults and older
adults of all backgrounds in our community. Hybrid work style, flexible hours based on population
served and needs. Welcoming and supportive team environment with group supervision and regular
staff meetings. The agency prioritizes ongoing professional development, free or reduced-fee training
and CEU's, referral bonuses.
Coordinate Senior Friendly Visiting Program
• Assess and conduct intake for prospective participants
• Recruit, screen, train, match, supervise and recognize volunteers on ongoing basis
• Facilitate monthly group supervision and ongoing learning opportunities for volunteers
• Maintain accurate and up to date program documentation
• Communicate actively with relevant case managers and family as needed
• Attend and participate in relevant meetings including Office on Aging Provider Meetings
• Assist leadership with program evaluation, data collection, and reporting as needed
Provide Mental Health Counseling
• Providing high-quality evidence-based counselling interventions in office, or via telehealth to a
broad range of clients dealing with mental health challenges
• Completion of bio-psychosocial assessment, ongoing assessment and diagnosis, development of
treatment plans, updates, and progress notes according to client needs and regulations
• Completion of all clinical responsibilities with attention to clinical details and documentation
• Comply with ethical and confidentiality standards
• Weekly attendance at supervision sessions with clinical supervisor, attendance at bi-monthly
clinical team meetings
Additional responsibilities as requested by supervisor and Executive Director
Requirements
• Licensed in New Jersey as a Social Worker (LSW, LCSW) or Comparable License
• 2-5 years of experience and interest in working with older adults, people with chronic illness,
people with disabilities, and caregivers
• Experience working with and training volunteers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual professionals encouraged to apply, seeking the following languages to meet the needs
of our community: Spanish, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hebrew, Yiddish, or Sign Language
Compensation & Benefits
Health insurance, life insurance, 403B, trainings, and other employee benefits
Salary range: $54,000-$62,000 based on experience
