Looking to connect?

JFS’s Friendly Visiting Program helps older adults (60+) and people with disabilities stay connected through regular visits from trained volunteers.

Visitors provide companionship, help with small tasks like reading mail or using technology, and share in hobbies, from playing cards to listening to music. Each match is supported by a licensed social worker and focused on building genuine connections.

Open to all community members, regardless of background.

Getting to the store isn’t always easy…that’s where we come in.

Through our Senior Shopper Program, community volunteers provide regularly scheduled grocery shopping for homebound seniors in Somerset County.

This program is coordinated by Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties and funded by the Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services.

🧡 Referrals are required through the Office on Aging and Disability Services.
