It’s a great moment to recognize social workers everywhere who advocate, support, and walk alongside individuals and families with compassion and respect.

At JFS, social work means meeting people where they are, and helping them move forward with dignity, access, and hope.

Ready to experience a powerful story of resilience and truth?

THE OPTIMIST is a feature film inspired by the true story of Holocaust survivor Herbert Heller. Special screenings will take place on March 11 and March 15, with 20% of box office proceeds supporting KAVOD SHEF, an organization dedicated to supporting Holocaust survivors in need.

🎟 Community members can also receive discounted tickets through Fandango: use promo code BECOMEANOPTIMIST to receive $5 off two tickets.

This inspiring film reminds us of the importance of courage, truth, and preserving the stories of Holocaust survivors.
