Some ways that you’ve been self sabotaging,
or trying too hard,
or getting in your own way?

It’s Friday… your opportunity to let go of that all
and start over with a clean slate. 🧹

And today is an even more powerful releasing Friday because we are in the dark moon phase. 🌑

Tomorrow starts a new moon cycle. 🌙

So before you set new intentions… give yourself permission to release and let go of what hasn’t been working.

This rolling technique is a surprisingly powerful way to give your body more flexibility and stability. And a key to keeping plantar fasciitis at bay.

This week’s from the massage table… 🤲🏻

Almost all of my clients so far this week have been coming in with exactly the same body pain — that spot right where the bottom of your neck connects with your shoulders.

I bet you know the spot. 😣

Here’s the recommendation I shared with them that I’ll share with you too —

🤔 for the rest of this week (as often as you can) practice noticing where you are carrying your head.

When you are walking, driving, sitting at your computer… is your head jutting forward, in front of your shoulders? 🖥

When you are standing in line at the grocery store, or sitting in a chair scrolling through your social media feed… is your head hanging down toward your phone? 🤳🏻

Those many muscles in your neck and shoulders, they’re amazing… but they are not meant to carry around your heavy skull all the time. 😣

And when you don’t have your head stacked up on top of your vertebrae (as it should be most of the time) you are making those muscles work overtime. 🏋️‍♀️
No wonder they are knotted and sore. 😓

Try this image for giving your muscles a break… whenever you catch your head forward, imagine helium balloons attached to your ears and float your head back up on top of your spine 🎈👂👂🎈
