Although we’ve been celebrating all month long, today officially marks the 10th anniversary of NightingaleNJ! 🎉

Ten incredible years of passion, dedication, and advocacy—made possible by Kelly and Chris, who first had the vision for this organization a decade ago. Their commitment laid the foundation for everything NightingaleNJ has become today.

March 3rd is World Hearing Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about hearing loss and while promoting ear and hearing care.

According to Psychology Today, "By age 60, more than two-thirds of people are afflicted with hearing loss," this is particularly concerning when considering new research that suggests a link between untreated hearing loss and an increased risk of dementia. Fortunately, according to some studies, treatment for hearing loss seems to prove effective in preventing the progression from hearing loss to dementia.

Thoughtful Engagement had a blast celebrating the Chinese New Year last week. Our wonderful client made a red dragon to usher in good fortune with the year. We also passed out some fortune cookies (after eating one ourselves of course) and read about Chinese New Year traditions including dragon symbolism, dances, and red envelopes. Happy Chinese New Year!

Good news, Telehealth coverage has been extended! Medicare patients will now be able to utilize Telehealth services through December 31st, 2027. This covers all Medicare beneficiaries and allows for Telehealth services to be utilized directly from home.
