Thinking about you today and the sacrifices you made by going into the Navy and the toll it took on you. Love you. You are held in a high regard of respect now. It's a travesty that you did not receive a hero's welcome when you came home. That was unacceptable.

Hey dad. We're gonna light a bunch of fireworks off tonight (because we can). I know how much you loved fireworks. We have some screamers and streamers. We have that tank one but that will have to wait.... No moving fireworks (like that fantastic Roman candle that lit my sock on fire as a kid). Good times! 😄🎇 Love you. Missing you today, Dad. In remembrance of your service, they inscribed your name on the Star Of Honor at the Veterans memorial cemetery downtown. Thank you for all you've done. 💖😘
