And honestly… it’s such a perfect reminder for pregnancy and postpartum.

Because just like those eggs, our bodies reflect how we’re being nourished. Not in a perfection-y way, but in a your body feels the difference way. When you’re adding color to your plate, getting in protein, hydrating, and giving yourself steady fuel, you don’t just “eat better”—you feel more stable, more energized, more supported from the inside out.

And on the days where your yolk feels a little lighter? That’s okay too. Nourishment isn’t all or nothing; it’s cumulative. It’s small, doable choices that stack up over time.

Totally normal. But you don’t have to white-knuckle your way through it.

Here’s the simplest fix: have an afternoon plan.
It can be as small as writing down what you’ll eat for your next meal or prepping a quick nutrient-dense snack ahead of time. A tiny bit of structure keeps your energy steady, supports blood sugar, and prevents the “I’m starving—anything will do” scramble.

✨ A few pregnancy-friendly 3 p.m. boosts:
• Greek yogurt + berries
• Cheese stick + apple
• Cottage cheese + pineapple
• Hummus + crackers
• Trail mix
• A small smoothie
• Hard-boiled egg + fruit

And don’t forget the basics that make a huge difference:
💧 Hydration — most moms are more dehydrated than they realize, which spikes fatigue.
🚶‍♀️ Gentle movement — even 5–10 minutes after lunch helps stabilize blood sugar and reduce that late-day slump.
