The goal of World Parkinson’s Day is to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and its impact on individuals, families, and communities. It serves as a global day to highlight the challenges of living with Parkinson’s, encourage research and treatment advancements, and mobilize collective action to improve the lives of those affected. We ask that you take a moment today to stop and be aware; look up something about Parkinson’s to educate yourself, reach out to a family member or friend who has Parkinson’s (PD) and check in.
