Dear Yoga Loft Community,

We want to share some important news: the Yoga Loft Sonora will be closing on December 30, 2025. After more than 20 years of serving this community—with five different owners, many skilled and dedicated teachers, and thousands of classes—it’s time for us to step back and pass the torch to the other wonderful studios and teachers in Tuolumne County.

This was not an easy decision. While our love for this space and our community is deep and remains strong, a combination of life events and financial realities has made it impossible for us to continue operating the studio. We’ve taken time to consider every option, and closing now, while difficult, is the most responsible choice we can make. It has been an incredibly difficult choice, made with care and respect for the legacy of this beautiful space and all who have made it thrive.

As we prepare to close, we invite you to continue practicing with us throughout December. Come enjoy your favorite teachers, soak up the warmth of the studio, and share this final month with your Yoga Loft family.

**A note about class credits:**

Many students may still have outstanding class credits. We kindly ask that you use your remaining credits before December 30. If you find that you still have credits after we close, please reach out—we have several other options for classes and are committed to making sure you are cared for.

To make this last month even more accessible, **all classes are being offered at a special rate of $13 (without a class card)**.

Though our doors are closing, our gratitude is endless. Thank you to our lovely students who brought heart, curiosity, and devotion into this space day after day. And thank you to our amazing teachers, whose wisdom, compassion, and presence have shaped the Yoga Loft into the sanctuary it has been for more than two decades.

It has been an honor to serve this community, and we are deeply grateful for every shared breath, every brave beginning, and every moment of connection.

Yin yoga is a satisfying, quiet practice which targets our deep connective tissues and affords us a deep stretch. All while listening to sensational music in a darling setting (downtown Murphys), decompressing, and opening our sweet hearts.
Yin Yoga is a wondrous opportunity to slow down -- especially during the Holiday season.
This workshop will feature: aromatherapy, deep myofascial release, breath exploration, Yin yoga poses, and of course, Carolyn's unique flavor of teaching. She can bring you into a calm state fast and sweetly.
