Have you met Victoria Rockwell of Color In Imagination? She’ll be at tomorrows fair 🎊🙌

I began ice dyeing 6 years ago and never expected it to become my entire world.
Ice dyeing is a more complex form of tie dye which requires lots of time and patience. There are many different ways to ice dye and things like temperature and weave of fabric come into play. I look at each piece as an empty canvas and because the dye is sprinkled on in powder form, colors can be layered as in painting. After the dye is applied, ice is added anywhere from 1-3 days until saturation is complete. Then the piece must be wrapped in plastic and "batched" for at least 24 hours at 72 degrees. This is when the dye binds to the fabric at a molecular level and becomes the fabric. In other words, the color is permanent and will not fade if taken care of properly. Washing in cold water is a must.
Each piece is done one at a time and I take pride in having unique one of a kind product. I put in as much love, strength and positive energy I can muster. I cannot nor will not create unless I am in the perfect mindset.
Many people have called my work "magic" and one of my repeat customers even told me my dyes make him feel safe.

The weather should be beautiful, so grab your friends and family and head to the fairgrounds.
