Various county departments and Tuolumne Resiliency Coalition members came together today for "Pinwheels for Prevention." The blue pinwheels were planted to raise awareness and action against child abuse and neglect for National Child Abuse Prevention Month, which will be on display in front of Adventist Health Sonora on Greenley Road for the month of April. The blue pinwheel is the national symbol of the happy, healthy childhood every child deserves. This effort was organized and led by Tuolumne County Department of Social Services. This was the first year it was open to community members, and to support our partners TCBH showed up. πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ«ΆπŸ«ΆπŸ«ΆπŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ«ΆπŸ«ΆπŸ«ΆπŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

NAMI’s theme for this year is more than a message β€” it’s how we move from silence to healing, together.

For too long, stigma has kept people quiet about their mental health. But when we speak up, we make space for understanding, connection, and healing.

So how do we begin? By sharing our stories.

When you share your story, you show someone else they are not alone. You help turn silence into support β€” and strengthen the path toward healing for all of us.

Join NAMI this Mental Health Awareness Month.
Share your story. Help break the silence: nami.org/mham
