GLP 3’ers 👋

So let’s -“Make it Make Sense”, Why do we feel hungrier w the GLP3…
Here is a precise breakdown for you if you are curious, disappointed w the switch, or feeling it’s not working for you.
Because I’m huge on personal experience, I do understand where you are coming from and why🫶🏽
First ~a quick clarification (important)
There is no GLP-3 clinically.
GLP3 (retatrutide) is a triple agonist:
•GLP-1
•GIP
•Glucagon
That glucagon component is the key reason appetite can feel different.
Why GLP3 can increase hunger for some people/ME?
1. Glucagon can raise energy demand
Glucagon:
•Increases fat burning
•Increases metabolic rate
•Mobilizes stored energy
👉 Your body may respond with “I need fuel” signals, especially first weeks.
2. Early phase appetite fluctuations…
In the first few weeks:
•Appetite can increase before it decreases
•Hunger signals can feel intense or more frequent
•Especially noticeable if calories drop too fast
This usually levels out, but it causes us to feel it’s not working. Remember we must eat to burn stored fat.
3. Blood sugar dips
If you’re:
•Undereating
•Skipping meals
•Low on protein
GLP3 can make blood sugar dips more noticeable, which the brain interprets as hunger.
4. GIP response varies like:
GIP affects people differently…
•For some ~appetite suppression

•Protein first (very important on GLP3 all GLPs)

•Don’t let yourself get overly depleted
•Hydration + electrolytes
•Track patterns, not days

Bottom line
Yes ~increased hunger on GLP3 can absolutely happen, especially early on or at certain doses.
It’s usually physiological, temporary, and manageable with the right approach.
