🎨 Exciting News from Groveland! 🎨

WATCH Resources artists are proud to be contributing to a new community mosaic mural coming to the public restrooms on Ponderosa Lane—soon to be known as the Ponderosa Parking Restrooms!

Commissioned by the County of Tuolumne and led by local artist Barbara Bussler of Black Bear Mosaics, the mural is part of a Caltrans Clean California grant to beautify State Route 120. The design celebrates local history, native plants, and transportation, with contributions from community members, youth, and organizations like WATCH Resources.

Our artists are creating the handmade ceramic lettering that will appear in the mural’s legend panel, proudly representing creativity, inclusion, and collaboration.

We’re honored to be part of this vibrant public art project—stay tuned for updates and photos as it all comes together!

This vital addition to our transportation fleet helps ensure adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to community programs, employment, and enriching activities.

A heartfelt thank you to Sonora Area Foundation, Oak Valley Community Bank, Kent & Pamela Donahue, and Hiltje Jamieson for making this dream a reality. Your support drives independence, connection, and opportunity throughout our community. 💙

🎨✨ What an incredible Friday night we had at the Mother Lode Art Association’s 70th Annual Art Show at the Sonora Opera Hall!

WATCH staff, our talented artists, and their families had such a wonderful time attending and participating in this amazing community event. From seeing our artists’ work proudly displayed to connecting with fellow creatives and community members, it was a joyful and inspiring experience for all. 💛

A huge THANK YOU to the Mother Lode Art Association for including us and for celebrating the creativity and talent of artists of all abilities.
