Help us welcome Kaila Cushner, CNM, MSN, RN as she steps into her new full-time role. Kaila’s been part of our care family for a while, and now she’s here to stay—bringing her warmth and expertise to every patient she meets.

We’re equally excited to introduce Dr. Sienna Titen, MD, who is joining us to offer concierge gynecology services right here in Santa Cruz. Dr. Titen’s personalized approach means our patients can look forward to truly individualized, top-tier women’s health care.

✨ Meet Kayla! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Kayla Cushner, CNM, MSN, RN (she/her) to the Nurture team! With over 12 years of experience, Kayla is a Certified Nurse Midwife who provides integrative, personalized care at every stage of life—from puberty and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and beyond.

Kayla blends Western medicine with holistic, evidence-based approaches, ensuring her patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take charge of their health. She’s particularly passionate about fertility and preconception support, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and menopause management—as well as working with teens and young adults as they begin advocating for their own wellness.

Originally from Boston, Kayla earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale School of Nursing and has been practicing midwifery in Santa Cruz since 2016. Outside of work, she’s a mom to two energetic boys, loves exploring the beaches and trails of Santa Cruz, and values strong female friendships—because community is everything!

This one is extra special—because not only is Bree Bode, LMFT an incredible therapist, but she and Dana Ramsey, CNM have known each other since high school! When Dana knew she wanted to bring a mental health specialist to Nurture, she couldn’t think of a better fit than Bree.

Bree’s compassion, expertise, and dedication to her clients shine through in everything she does. Over the past few years, we’ve been able to grow our therapy services, and now, Bree is even supervising our amazing APCC, Lynn Ingram, helping expand access to supportive, trauma-informed therapy for even more patients.
