Why connect to Earth’s energy?

Because…

She needs us to connect to her energy. It shows that we value her as whole and worthwhile

Her energy heals us
Mentally… literally-I have so many cases of people coming to me for depression and anxiety. Earth’s energy can help alleviate your symptoms or entirely release your imbalance.

I've been thinking a lot about stillness and refuge these days. There's been so much going on for so long now. Here, in the states, we come together this day to give thanks for what we have in our lives. I have so much to give thanks for, and so much of that is my work with you. It's through this connection to you and Earth, that I feel deep meaning in my life. I so appreciate your effort in this connection.
A core aspect of my work is to hold space for those that are coming to me with their experiences, their pain, grief and loss. Lately, there's been a lot of it. When I walk out of my office, I pass a line of trees that are currently bursting orange and red. Soon the leaves will drop and the bark will transform to a mahogany brown with rusty veins running up its length. Across the street from my office is an elementary school. I often hear the laughter of the kids and see the parents walking their children to school or to their cars. It's these constants that provide both space to release my emotional work load and hope. Earth provides a constant forward moving heartbeat at all times. Life keeps moving forward, in so many ways changing, despite the grief-we keep going forward. Always shifting, shrinking and expanding, feeling up, then down then up again. On and on.
As the world throws us to and fro, the ground beneath us is sturdy, providing support, nourishment and love. I hope you can find refuge and stillness in Earth's support today and in the days ahead, in her ever changing beauty, in the fact that life keeps moving forward, on and on. Even when we leave our bodies here, we move into many more forms, always changing, always growing. When we draw on Earth's strength, we can meet whatever comes at us. That strength is beneath us, around us and within us at all times. No matter the pain, or the joy, there is that constant heartbeat, always on and on.
