Residents at Souderton Mennonite Homes enjoyed a visit from the Shady Hollow Farm stand, bringing fresh fruits and vegetables right to the lobby for everyone to enjoy! If you missed it, don’t worry – they will be visiting on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. throughout July and August!

🦋 The period when we release butterflies is such a special time of year! Residents throughout the community watched butterflies grow indoors before releasing them out in nature in July.

Residents at Souderton Mennonite Homes enjoyed a lively afternoon of singing during Music with Seth! Afzal, one of the music interns, started things off with classical songs on the guitar. After Seth led the group with well-loved songs, that got everyone involved!

Residents at Souderton Mennonite Homes enjoyed playing field games. The games included Bocce ball, beanbag toss, and tic tac toe using tennis balls. A fun morning filled with laughs and smiles!

Residents at Souderton Mennonite Homes gathered for a fun afternoon of Bingo, led by our wonderful volunteers. Prizes included Corner Store coupons and candy! Everyone was excited to join in and try their luck.

Residents recently took to the water for an adventure at Green Lane Reservoir as part of Living U, the lifelong learning program of Living Branches! Led by educators from the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, the group enjoyed a peaceful morning of kayaking and birdwatching while learning about local wildlife and conservation. Registration for the fall semester of Living U will begin on Wednesday, July 16 – stay tuned for more details!

This week Living Branches celebrated the start of June with a Strawberry Festival! Residents at Souderton Mennonite Homes enjoyed many strawberry themed events such as co****le. Highlights include a performance from the Brunners bluegrass band and a visit from the BuxMont Two-Cylinder Club, who brought their antique tractors.
