Not too long ago, our Southfield Village Healthcare residents celebrated the arrival of spring with a fun and festive Garden Party! 🌸💙🌿

As the warmer weather started rolling in, residents enjoyed an afternoon full of laughter, creativity, and delicious treats. One of the biggest hits? Chocolate pudding desserts topped with gummy worms made to look like little buckets of dirt and worms—gross… but VERY yummy! 😂🍫🪱

The fun didn’t stop there! Residents also got to wear stylish flower headwear, show off colorful temporary flower tattoos, and snap photos in front of a beautiful garden-themed backdrop. 📸🌼

Days like these are what make our community so special—giving residents and staff something exciting to look forward to, plan together, and enjoy side by side. The smiles, laughter, and joyful memories made the party a blooming success! 💚

🎨 Now through May 29th, our Creativity is Timeless Art Show is proudly on display right here on campus, showcasing the incredible talent of artists throughout our community and surrounding area.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event, as well as to the judges and community members who helped determine this year’s winners. The creativity, passion, and artistic talent on display have been absolutely inspiring! ✨

There are so many gifted artists living in our area, and this exhibit is a beautiful celebration of imagination, expression, and lifelong creativity.

Last week, Southfield Village residents had another wild and wonderful time during our monthly Zoo to You visit from the Potawatomi Zoo! 🦜🐹💙

Claire returned to campus with some resident favorites and some exciting new animal friends, making for an unforgettable day of learning, laughter, and discovery! Residents got up close with a beautiful Macaw, a friendly little reptile, and an adorable guinea pig. 🐍✨

Events like these bring so much excitement to our community, giving residents the chance to learn new things, share fun facts with friends, and experience the joy of connecting with animals in a unique way.

As resident Carol said best: “It truly is awesome!” 😊

A huge thank you to Claire and the Potawatomi Zoo for another fantastic visit. We can’t wait to see who stops by next! 💚
