My goal for next year is to read more books, but these 66 will be on repeat because they’re just so good. If you have a goal to read through the Bible in 2026, check out the Bible Recap at https://www.thebiblerecap.com/start

Scripture slows us down in a world that constantly pulls us into anxiety and noise. It gives language to our pain, names our fears, and reminds us we’re not alone in them. The Bible invites us to renew our minds, anchor ourselves in truth when emotions feel overwhelming, and find hope that isn’t dependent on circumstances.

For many, reading the Bible becomes a daily moment of regulation, perspective, and grounding—a place where shame loosens its grip, grace speaks louder than self-criticism, and meaning begins to replace despair.

You don’t have to read it perfectly or understand everything. Simply showing up, day by day, can gently shape your thoughts, calm your nervous system, and remind you who you are and whose you are. can help!

As January 1st approaches, I want to gently invite you into something that has been deeply grounding and transformative for so many (including me!): reading through the Bible in a year.

This isn’t about checking a spiritual box or rushing through Scripture. It’s about daily, honest engagement with God’s Word—learning the bigger story, noticing who God is, and letting truth slowly reshape your heart and mind. Just a small, consistent practice that can bring clarity, hope, and spiritual steadiness as you move into a new year.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the Bible, disconnected from God, or unsure where to start, this is a beautiful, accessible way in. Starting January 1st. One day at a time. Grace over perfection.

If you’re joining in, I’d love to know. 🤍

Today we celebrate the gift of Jesus—Emmanuel, God with us. Whether this season feels full of joy, quiet reflection, or a mix of emotions, my prayer is that you experience His peace, His nearness, and His gentle renewal. May grace meet you right where you are, and may hope rise again in your heart.
Wishing you a Christmas filled with love, rest, and the reminder that you are deeply seen and dearly loved. ✨

Shout out to the generations of the faithful that lived during the 400 years of silence between the Old and New Testaments.

The mothers, fathers, and grandparents held tight to the promises of God. They trusted His word, lived as an example of faith, and passed down a legacy of belief. They told their children and grandchildren about the living Lord, His mighty works, and the promises He made for a wonderful future. Even in generations of silence, they did not waver.

So that, when the time was just right, a young Jewish girl would be so full of faith that when an angel visited to tell her that she would birth the Savior of the World, she didn’t hesitate to answer, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” (Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭38‬)

We may be the no-names, the forgotten ones, those that don’t get any notoriety, but don’t forget that our legacy matters. Listen to the Holy Spirit who lives inside of you as a Believer in Christ. Stay faithful, even in seasons of silence, for your faith may just have an amazing impact on those around you.
