🎯 Tell the Truth Day: HIV – Fact vs. Fiction
✅ Fact: You cannot get HIV from hugging, kissing, or sharing food.
❌ Fiction: HIV spreads through casual contact.
✅ Fact: HIV is treatable with medication, and people on effective treatment can live long, healthy lives.
❌ Fiction: An HIV diagnosis is a death sentence.
✅ Fact: People with HIV who take medication and maintain an undetectable viral load cannot transmit the virus (U=U).
❌ Fiction: Someone with HIV is always contagious.
✅ Fact: Anyone can get HIV, regardless of gender, sexuality, or age.
❌ Fiction: HIV only affects gay men or drug users.
✅ Fact: HIV tests are fast, easy, and often free. Early detection saves lives.
❌ Fiction: You don’t need to get tested unless you feel sick.
🗣️ Truth matters. Stigma doesn’t. Let’s share facts and end myths about HIV.

Not all heroes wear capes — some save lives with a simple act of kindness. Join us this Thursday and be a real-life hero by donating blood!
