October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and support ongoing efforts to find a cure. Breast cancer impacts millions, and for those living with HIV, the challenges can be even greater due to health disparities, stigma, and limited access to care. Let’s uplift each other, advocate for inclusive care, and remind our communities: early detection saves lives.

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to raise our voices for survivors, honor their strength, and commit to breaking the cycle of abuse. Domestic violence affects people of all genders, backgrounds, and communities , including those living with HIV, who may face heightened vulnerability and barriers to support. The intersection of violence, stigma, and mental health is real and urgent. Everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard.

🏳️‍🌈 October is LGBTQ+ History Month a time to honor the trailblazers, celebrate resilience, and reflect on the progress made in the fight for equality and human rights. From Stonewall to today, LGBTQ+ voices have shaped history and continue to inspire change. As we celebrate, let’s also remember that many in our community still face stigma, especially those living with HIV, and that the fight for visibility, acceptance, and justice isn’t over. This month, we uplift our past, empower our present, and commit to a more inclusive future.

🧡 October is Bullying Awareness Month, a time to stand up, speak out, and support those affected by bullying in all its forms. Bullying isn’t limited to childhood. Many adults experience bullying for various reasons, like struggles with mental health, substance abuse, living with HIV, homelessness, etc. These individuals face stigma, discrimination, and emotional abuse, which can lead to depression, anxiety, and isolation. Bullying isn’t always loud; sometimes, it’s silence, exclusion, or judgment. Let’s use this month to not only raise awareness about bullying, but to support mental health, and remind each other that kindness is powerful.
💬 Speak up. 💖 Show support. 🧠 Protect mental health.
