Tuesday Night! Columbus KTC Compassion Mantra for Election Night:

"It’s been a tough election season and some folks are feeling worn out by political division in their communities.

This Election Night, we’re offering an alternative place to spend an hour and nurture our compassionate side with the Chenrezig mantra practice.

Lama Kathy will be on Zoom at 7 PM EST Tuesday Nov. 5 to lead the Chenrezig chant. This one-hour session will he dedicated to the benefit of all sentient beings and the resolution of conflicts.

Check the “online programs” tab on the Columbus KTC website for the zoom link and information.

See you then - and may all be well for all beings!

The Columbus KTC was established in 1977 by our Founder, Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, as a center of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Since that time – for more than 40 years – we have worked to be a beacon of the Buddha’s teachings in Central Ohio.

On 10/27/24, Sunday Drive Meditation Collective hosted our first Death Cafe Discussion with help from special guest facilitator, Marie Ferraro. Our conversation centered around important topics such as acknowledging common mortality, living without regrets, end of life wishes and personal loss of loved ones experiences.
💀☕️
Afterwards, we gathered for a themed 'Collective Activity' of make/take Haunted Mushroom Houses. Participants enjoyed an array of treats, tea/coffee, cookies & cakes while crafting their spooky Halloween creations - which all turned out SO cute! 🍄
🎃
Thank you to EVERYONE who helped, attended and LangLab South Bend for making it ALL possible!
