It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of our friend, and the dad to one of our theatre students, Scott Kline. He loved his kids, and we are really going to miss him. Our love and support go out to Scotty Kline and his family as they grieve the loss of their dad and best friend. Peace be with you ❤️ We are glad we got to know you!

Our Mission
Michiana Performing And Adaptive Arts Community (MPAAAC) believes in helping students of ALL ABILITIES find their performance and artistic expression through traditional and adaptive means.
Our Vision
MPAAAC believes in the power of artist and community working together. Our special needs community is critically underrepresented in the performing arts: identifying this, MPAAAC’s solution is to build an inclusive performing arts school in the greater South Bend area that caters to a performer’s ability.
Values
We believe in relationship-based education - the emphasis is placed on getting to know our students as individuals before we jump into the curriculum. Our favorite question to ask - how can I teach you if I do not know you?
MPAAAC - ADAPTIVE ARTS - ARTS for ALL ABILITIES - help us help students become the artists that they wish to be!
MPAAAC is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Tuition covers 30% of our operating costs. We rely on the charitable donations of our community to make up the rest.
We currently serve 65 students with and without cognitive and physical challenges in over 15 art education programs, and have provided several performance opportunities in the greater South Bend area. Past events have all been sold-out performances with over 500 attendees. We are looking forward to even greater success this year.
Adaptives
MPAAAC works with community members to creative adaptive devices to help individuals play traditional instruments more comfortably, by adapting the instrument to their cognitive or physical challenge.
Instrument Adoptions
MPAAAC received working, donated instruments and adopts them out to students who need them.
