West Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation residents had a Wizard of Oz party and watched the original movie: theatre-style buttered popcorn, movie-size candy boxes, pizza, and Twinkies to represent the yellow brick road. Liz, our Memory Care Specialist, put a lot of time and effort into making it a great event for our residents and team members. What will we do next?

Thank you to Chris, our Transportation Director, for assisting in making this all happen and to our Activity Directors for making a great day for our residents yet again.

West Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation celebrated our 25-Year Anniversary in style!

We enjoyed Nelson's chicken, pit potatoes, co****le, putt-putt, the Solo Cup game, raffles, prizes, PTO giveaways, new shirts, lanyards, and so much more — all to celebrate our company’s success!

ASC: 25 years strong, and we plan on keeping it going!

Smiles were everywhere, the energy was positive, and the celebration lasted all day long.

Compliments to the chefs! Chef Minch and our talented culinary stars from Meadow Lakes and Rosegate served up a memorable dinner last night at an IHCA event with Governor Braun and the First Lady. From the first bite to the last, the evening was nothing short of fantastic with delicious food, wonderful company, and plenty of pride in our amazing team!

Cardinal Nursing & Rehab and West Bend Nursing & Rehab went to IGNITE the grill for an end of summer cookout and to celebrate National Senior Citizen Day with our friends at Linden House of Mishawaka. Burgers, dogs and all the fixins along with some fabulous desserts were on the menu. We even had ax throwing & connect four competitions going on. Everyone enjoyed themselves and asked when we would be back. Thank you for having us we had a blast!

West Bend resident Mary took us all back in time this afternoon, when she was coloring her toilet paper, we offered her coloring books, paper, sketch pad and she said no thank you, "Don't you remember when toilet paper was decorated and printed?" I'm going to decorate mine. Small things that we forget can be impactful to others and this was the best thing I have seen in a while, thank you for taking us back in time Mary.
