November's All Staff party was a blast! Who says you can't have fun while learning?

We played a fun game to test our staffs' knowledge on policies & procedures. This month's theme was Christmas... cause why not?! We celebrated successes, accomplishments, anniversaries & birthdays.

We also recognized our beloved administrative assistant Denise as she embarks on her next adventure... retirement in the next few months.

Congratulations Sabrina Love, Wellness Assistant, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Sabrina Love, Therapy Aide at Cardinal Nursing and Rehab, has dedicated an incredible 30 years to senior care, making her one of the most experienced and trusted team members in our community. Starting her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Sabrina spent 27 years providing hands-on care before stepping into a new role as a Therapy Aide three years ago. Her inspiration comes from a deep-rooted desire to help others, especially those who can’t always help themselves. This passion drives her commitment to improving the quality of life for every resident she serves.

Sabrina was nominated for the Quest Award because of the vital role she has played in shaping our community. She is dependable, knowledgeable, and always approachable, traits that make her a go-to resource for both staff and residents. Coworkers consistently praise her teamwork and positive energy, while residents often share that their sessions with Sabrina are the highlight of their day. Her ability to balance clinical skill with heartfelt connection sets her apart from the crowd.

Sabrina embodies the ASC core values in every way. Her Compassion is evident in how attentively she supports residents’ physical and emotional well-being. She shows Accountability through decades of consistent, high-quality care. She nurtures meaningful Relationships with everyone she encounters, and her commitment to Excellence is reflected in her leadership of the wellness program. Our team at Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center had a ghoulishly good time on Halloween.

Residents voted for their favorite costumes and our winners were.... 1st place Therapy Hula Dancers 2nd place Cruella DiVille (aka Monica Harris) and 3rd place went to the Tooth Fairy (aka Tyree Crawford)

Congratulations to all! We can't wait to see what spooktacular costumes everyone comes up with next year.
