I wanted to personally let you all know that I have tested positive for the flu and will need to cancel all appointments through Saturday. Your health and safety, as well as my own, are my top priority, and I appreciate your understanding during this time.

As a reminder, if you are feeling sick or under the weather, please don’t hesitate to cancel or reschedule your appointment—there is no charge for illness-related changes. This policy is in place to keep everyone safe and healthy.

As the sole owner and esthetician of Bella Claire Skin & Beauty, taking time off like this is a significant financial burden. However, it’s crucial to me to prioritize wellness and recovery, both for myself and for the care I provide to you.

As Halloween approaches you know what is scary? Its when I hear “After this mani, I think I’m gonna let my nails breathe”. I’ll be honest I have to try to refrain from a big sigh. 😌 let’s debunk together and I’ll explain!

Nails can not breathe.
Nails do not have lungs. Nails are dead ☠️
They are made from non living protein called keratin
They get their oxygen from your blood supply 🩸

Also, many gels are permeable, small molecules can get through to the nail plate. This is also why keeping your nails from saturating in some solvents like cleaning products is key to keeping longer lasting polish as it can permeate and disrupt the bond to your nail, causing lifting, chipping, discoloration, etc.

Hope this helps clear up a common nail myth my spooky friends 👻

It’s finally happening! Bella Claire’s website is getting a long overdue overhaul! New and improved website coming soon!!! Just in time for the holiday season you will be able to shop online, purchase gift cards, view services, see the studio, meet the staff and be able to answer some FAQ’s before booking your appointment! Forms will be able to be completed online and save time for more efficient pampering time for you in studio.
I just want to take a moment and say thank you again to all of you! Almost 3 years next month since opening and you all have been so supportive, encouraging and just amazing. Thanks for being on this journey with me and for choosing me to be your Esthetician. 😍
