With pharmacy experience beginning in 2024 and currently advancing her technician training since May 2025, she contributes strong operational knowledge, inventory expertise, and a deep commitment to accuracy and patient service.

As a Retail Operations Manager, Jill oversees daily workflow ex*****on, inventory processes, team coordination, and customer service standards within a high-volume retail environment. With over a decade of retail experience, she excels in operational efficiency, staff support, and maintaining smooth, productive store performance.

Having served Halifax County for over 20 years, Jill developed extensive experience in regulatory processes, record management, and public-facing service. Her background in legal compliance, system oversight, and public service demonstrates exceptional organizational discipline and integrity. She holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Technology and is an active Virginia Notary Public.

As a lifelong member of the Halifax community, Jill is well known and deeply connected throughout the area. Her approachable demeanor, strong relationships, and trusted presence allow her to create meaningful connections with patients and customers alike. She is widely respected for her professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for those she serves.

Crystal Stewart serves as Pharmacy Operations Manager, bringing more than a decade of experience in pharmacy practice and healthcare operations. Licensed as a National Certified Pharmacy Technician, she began her career with a national retail pharmacy chain, where she developed extensive expertise in workflow efficiency, regulatory compliance, medication management, and patient-centered service.

Expanding her clinical knowledge, Crystal later became a Certified Medical Assistant, strengthening her understanding of direct patient care and interdisciplinary healthcare collaboration. This dual background uniquely positions her to bridge pharmacy operations with clinical insight, ensuring both operational excellence and compassionate care.

In her leadership role within an independent pharmacy setting, Crystal focuses on building streamlined systems, developing staff, strengthening compliance standards, and creating a seamless patient experience. As the pharmacist-owner of Halifax Drug, Tiffany Francisco is dedicated to bringing genuine, community-centered care back to the heart of pharmacy. A lifelong Virginian with deep ties to Southside, Tiffany blends modern clinical expertise with the charm and personal service of an old-fashioned apothecary, something she believes every community deserves.

Tiffany earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a focus on patient-centered counseling and chronic-disease management. Over the years, she has worked in both corporate and independent pharmacy settings, gaining a strong understanding of what truly matters to patients: trust, accessibility, and being treated like a neighbor, not a number.

In founding Halifax Drug, Tiffany set out to build a pharmacy where people feel welcomed, remembered, and cared for. From medication consultations and immunizations to everyday wellness needs, she brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every interaction. Her vision includes reviving the nostalgic beauty of early apothecaries, complete with curated wellness products, apothecary-style touches, and a warm, community-friendly atmosphere.

When she’s not behind the counter, Tiffany enjoys small-town life, supporting local businesses, and spending time with family. She is proud to serve Halifax County and looks forward to caring for generations to come.

For generations, Halifax has trusted and relied on Johnny Bass. Many of you know him, many of you have stories with him, and all of us have felt the impact of the care he’s given over the years. His dedication to his patients and his unwavering commitment to doing things the right way helped define what community pharmacy truly means.

It is an absolute honor and privilege to have Mr. Bass as a mentor and a resource as we begin this journey. His philosophy of caring for people first is the foundation we are striving to build on every single day.

Today we had the pleasure of a visit and support from two wonderful ladies Monica Clare Mears and Autumn Burch Enoch from Medi Home Hospice in Danville, who spend so much of their time serving and supporting families right here in our community.

Hospice care is often misunderstood as only being about comfort in someone’s final moments, but it is so much more than that. It is about compassion, dignity, guidance, and unwavering support, not just for the patient, but for their loved ones as well. Hospice teams walk alongside families during some of life’s most difficult transitions, offering emotional support, education, and a sense of peace when it is needed most.

At Halifax Drug, we truly value connecting with others who share that same heart for people. It means so much to us to come together with organizations and individuals who are committed to caring for our community in such meaningful ways.

We are grateful for the work they do, and we look forward to continuing to build relationships that make a difference right here at home. 🤝💙

Some moments in life come full circle in ways you can’t explain, only feel.

Today, as Halifax Drug opened its doors for the very first time, it also marked one year since Tiffany's Dad, known and loved by many as “Shady,” passed away. A day that once held so much loss now carries purpose, strength, and a legacy that lives on.

Throughout this entire journey, through the long days, the hard decisions, and the moments where giving up might have been easier, she felt him with her. Guiding her, pushing her, reminding her why she started. And today, more than ever, she felt his presence.

In the photos, you’ll see his firefighter jacket and helmet. Not just as a memory, but as a symbol of who he was, strength, courage, selflessness, and unwavering love. The same qualities that helped shape the woman who made this dream a reality.

This pharmacy is more than a business. It’s a piece of him. His legacy lives on in these walls, in this community, and in the care that will be given here every single day.

He may not be here in the way we wish, but somehow, we know he saw it. And we know he’s proud. ❤️

Today was more than just our first day at Halifax Drug, it was something we will carry with us forever. By the end of the day, we were overwhelmed in the best way with even more flowers, gifts, and kind gestures from this incredible community. Every bouquet, every note, every smile meant more than we could ever put into words.

With permission, we are so proud to share and show off the faces of those who came by to celebrate with us, making sure our entire team felt the excitement, the encouragement, and the overwhelming support. The love shown, especially in celebrating our pharmacist for pursuing her dream of bringing community pharmacy back to her hometown, is something truly special.

You all didn’t just show up, you showed OUT for us, and we felt every bit of that love. Please know this, as hard as you rally behind us, we are going to go just as hard for you. This pharmacy was built for you, and we promise to pour that same care, support, and heart right back into this community every single day.

We are beyond grateful, deeply humbled, and so proud to call this place home. Thank you for making our first day unforgettable. This is just the beginning ✨
