It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you that Halifax Pharmacy will be permanently closing as of September 30, 2025. This decision has not come easily, and it is due to a combination of poor current insurance reimbursement conditions and health concerns on my part.
Please be assured that your continued care remains our top priority. If you would like your remaining prescriptions transferred to a pharmacy of your choice, please contact Halifax Pharmacy directly at your earliest convenience. We will facilitate the transfer for you promptly.
For any prescriptions that have not been transferred by the closing date, we will ensure a smooth transition by sending them to Brookneal Drug in Brookneal. Their contact number is 434 376-2220. This step is intended to minimize any interruption in your care.
We deeply appreciate the trust you have placed in Halifax Pharmacy over the years. It has been a privilege to serve you and the community.
