💜 Today is Purple Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about epilepsy and supporting the millions of people affected by it around the world.

🧠 Did you know?
• Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological conditions, affecting about 50 million people worldwide.
• That means roughly 1 in 100 people will have epilepsy.
• More than half of people with epilepsy can live seizure-free with proper treatment and care.
• Epilepsy is not contagious and is not a psychological disorder.
• Unfortunately, stigma and misunderstanding still affect many people living with epilepsy.

Let’s continue to educate, advocate, and show compassion for everyone impacted by epilepsy. 💜

Today was a big day in PT! 🎉

Kingston has been working hard on building his strength and standing balance and has started taking independent steps during therapy. Watching his confidence grow with each step is the best part of the job. So proud of his hard work and the support from his family as he reaches this exciting milestone! 👣
