Families of children receiving special education services find themselves in a world of complicated policies, confusing acronyms and terms, and piles of paperwork. The Building Strong Parent Advocates training provides information to help families build a solid foundation to understand the special education process while empowering them to be their child’s best advocate.

Lights for Hope may be over, but the impact continues.❤️🤍

Despite snow, wind, and a few battle scars, our Grinch-themed display stood proud for a great cause. We’re grateful to have been part of an event where the Halifax County Cancer Association raised over $30,000 to support local cancer patients.

Due to weather and secondary road conditions, and for the safety of our staff and families traveling today, we will not be holding in-person visits.

Families who had appointments today have been contacted to reschedule for telehealth or another day this week.
