UPDATE: Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is currently recovering from a water supply disruption caused by a water line break in the town’s system overnight. The break has been repaired, and water service to the hospital has been restored. Patient care has continued uninterrupted throughout this process.

Sentara Cares was honored to serve as a supporting sponsor of the Truckers for a Cause parade held at the Halifax County Fairgrounds on November 8, 2025. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside an organization so deeply committed to supporting our community.

This contribution will help the Halifax County cancer association continue providing vital services to local cancer patients. Every dollar raised stays right here in Halifax county and goes directly to supporting those in need.

We were thrilled to participate in this year’s Christmas Parade with our very own Polar Express–themed float! From the design to the final touches, this festive project came together thanks to the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our amazing employees.
