Pumpkins carved (cooking the seeds later!), cookies made and being decorated little by little, outside decorated! (Yay target!)

For parents who are not huge fans of artificial dyes and/or have gone gluten free like me, please see cookie and icing recipe I used below, as well as a link to some food coloring I used to mix into the icing instead of buying the ones with bad stuff like red 40. They even sell sprinkles that are free from artificial dyes now! See links below!

And for my AAC users out there, here is a quick layout idea for a Halloween folder you can make in Proloquo2go! I added a folder I titled “Halloween” to THINGS->EVENTS

Looking for some fun Halloween activity ideas for your kids?! See what we’ve been doing at my house for ideas! AND…When I’m able to drive again hopefully next week, my students will be in for a welcome-back-Nat-Nat treat 🍬 🎃 👻

✅ Window crayon halloween fun 🎃 👻

✅ Halloween sensory toys (calming and great for fine motor!)

✅ Gel window stickers (dollar section at target!)

✅ Halloween Sensory bin (with optional sorting)

✅ Halloween coloring or sticker pages

✅ Halloween scavenger hunt (for additional toys for the sebsory bin- I bought a kit off Amazon with a bunch of things in it to have variety)

💡 Other Ideas💡

🎨 Painting or carving pumpkins 🎃

🍰 Halloween baking 🍪

🏠 Decorating outside and inside
