Tanya, our Reflections Director, and Lydia, our Executive Director, recently facilitated “A Walk in Their Shoes” for residents and members of the greater community. This powerful simulation experience helps participants better understand and empathize with what it can feel like to live with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

Through this hands-on experience, participants gained meaningful insight into the challenges many individuals face each day—deepening compassion, awareness, and connection. 💜

Sometimes the sweetest moments are the simplest ones. Today we captured a beautiful moment as one of our lovely residents enjoyed holding a precious newborn baby boy. With two grown sons of her own, it was clear that the love and tenderness of motherhood never fades with time!
