Blasting activities are set to begin next week on U.S. Route 2/7 between South Park Drive and Mountain View Drive in Colchester for the Exit 16 Diverging Diamond Interchange project.

Up to two blasting events per day could take place (weather depending) and will be restricted to weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM (exact times will vary).

Motorists on I-89 can expect rolling roadblocks in the area during blasting, with temporary barricades and flaggers in place on U.S. 2/7 to hold traffic as necessary. Wait times should not exceed 10 minutes.
