Through our Kids-A-Part Parenting Program, we work to strengthen the relationships between incarcerated parents, their children, and their children’s caregivers, offering vital support that helps families remain bonded and resilient.

Our expansion to the Northern State Correctional Facility has opened two new positions in Newport, VT: Community Case Manager and Facility Case Manager.

We’re grateful for Camp Agape and the fun and community it provides for children with an incarcerated parent. For many years, KAP staff have had the privilege of facilitating expressive art projects at the camp each summer.

With the recent expansion of our Kids-A-Part Parenting Program into the Northern State Correctional Facility, we’re excited that we can now support more of these children and their families year-round, helping them stay connected, express themselves, and access resources beyond the camp experience.

We’re excited to announce the expansion of Lund’s Kids-A-Part Parenting Program to serve incarcerated fathers at Northern State Correctional Facility in Newport, beginning this October— a major step toward supporting all Vermont children and families affected by incarceration.
