Emergency care is EXPENSIVE~! Keeping an after hours care facility staffed with highly trained professionals, stocked with state of the art equipment, medications, blood products, etc costs MORE. We do our best to be here for YOU, and to keep care accessible. Please do your best to save, budget, and plan for the unexpected!

Our Emergency Hospital provides after hours and weekend SUPPORT for your Primary Care Veterinarian. We are not a general practice that is open all night. We exist to address EMERGENT issues in the hours that your regular DVM is closed. With an extremely high caseload we do the frontline work to stabilize/treat your pet. Often a definitive diagnosis isn't determined until days or even weeks later (by your primary care Vet). We are here to HELP bridge the gap.

An animal emergency hospital provides immediate, life-saving medical care for pets with serious illness or injury. We handle critical, time-sensitive situations. Our role includes providing advanced diagnostics, emergency surgery, overnight monitoring, and intensive care, ensuring pets receive constant medical attention until they are stable.
***Urgent/ less serious/stable illness or injury is often treated conservatively on an outpatient basis with follow up recommended with your Primary Care Veterinarian should clinical signs persist or worsen.

KVVEH is an EMERGENCY facility. We are here to treat Urgent and Emergent issues with your pet. Like the Human ER we see patients NOT in order of presentation, but in order of severity of illness/injury.
