Valley Center's recreational and therapy department collaborated to give our residents a special carnival to celebrate the end of summer!🎪

Valley Center would like to give a HUGE congratulations to Mr. Cline! 🎉

Mr. Cline was recently discharged from Valley Center after a long hospitalization and was not able to ambulate and needed total assistance. It was very possible that he would stay long-term and become a permanent resident of our facility. After working with our Power Back Therapy Department, Mr. Cline was able to discharge home in just 23 days! Wow! Not only was he walking a distance of over 500 feet in the community with a rollator, he was able to walk up 15 steps!

Mr. Cline, you are such an inspiration to us all! We are so proud of you! We wish you nothing but the best in your journey ahead!❤️

We are proud to shine a light on Monet, one of our dedicated LPNs who has recently achieved an incredible milestone—graduating from RN school! 🎉

Her hard work, determination, and passion for nursing have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this accomplishment with her. Monet has been an important part of our team, providing excellent care and showing compassion every day.

Valley Center would like to congratulate Mr. Krieps on his graduation from therapy and we’re thrilled to celebrate his achievements as he embarks on his journey home! Mr. Krieps came to us unable to stand and required maximum assistance. Working with therapy and nursing, after only 53 days, Mr .Krieps is now able to stand and walk with a front-wheeled walker!💪

You inspire us all, Mr. Krieps, and we wish you nothing but the best! ❤️

Valley Center staff celebrated Wizard of Oz Day parading around the facility dressed as all of the memorable characters from the classic movie. Everyone was smiling ear-to-ear while we marched down the halls, singing classic tunes. After the parade, residents enjoyed cupcakes, buttery popcorn, and refreshments as they watched the 1939 American film. Here at Valley Center, there truly is No Place Like Home. ���

Tammie consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her students' success, and her dedication and hard work are clearly reflected in her remarkable pass rates. She is truly an exceptional instructor who is committed to the development of our future CNAs. In addition to her instructional excellence, Tammie recently demonstrated incredible teamwork and dedication by stepping up to assist during a Unit Manager's absence.
