Do you or someone you know live alone and could use a daily check‑in? The NSB Police Care Program is a free service designed to help keep our residents safe, connected, and supported.

👋 How it works:
- Participants call the Police Department between 8am and 1pm, Monday–Friday, just to check in and chat.
- On weekends, our Community Service Aides stop by for an in‑person wellness check.
- If a daily call is missed, an officer is sent to make sure everything is okay.

Beyond safety, this program offers something just as important: a little social interaction each day. For many of our elderly residents or those without nearby family, that friendly conversation can make a huge difference in their routine and overall well‑being.

This program has been around for years, but we’re working to revitalize it and reach more residents who could benefit from a friendly voice and a safety net!
