Bennardo received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1990 from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he was accepted into the Advanced General Dentistry Program at Northwestern University Dental School. It was during this residency program where Dr. Bennardo worked with dental specialists from every discipline in dentistry. Dr. Bennardo is a memb

er of The Academy of General Dentistry and has extensive experience in complex restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and advanced training in dental implants. Dr. Bennardo is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has the necessary training to help patients with sleep related disorders, such as snoring and the treatment of sleep apnea. Dr. Bennardo is a Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal (S.M.A.R.T.) certified provider removing mercury fillings to decrease the mercury exposure from silver fillings to the patient and staff. Dr. Bennardo attends Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin, where he serves on the worship team. His hobbies include playing the guitar, snow skiing, scuba diving, tennis and spending time with his family.
