Upstate care is proud to announce 2025 caregiver of the year award to Amber Delaney! 2026 will be Ambers sixth year with UCC. Amber has shown care, compassion, and dedication to not only her clients, but to UCC.

Amber will be heading to LAS VEGAS at the end of February for 4 days and 3 nights, all accommodations paid for.

We’re now accepting donations for our Annual Christmas Bazaar! Bring us your gently used Christmas décor, home décor, small appliances, and knick-knacks.
✨ Items don’t have to be Christmas-themed — we’ll happily take treasures for every season!
We are accepting donations until Thursday November 6th 2025. Please drop off all donations to the main office during normal business hours. Monday through Friday 9-4. If you have any questions please call the center at 518-793-2189.

🌟🌟🌟CAREGIVERS OF THE MONTH🌟🌟🌟

This month UCC is honoring TWO very special caregivers. These two girls have worked as a team all spring/summer/and fall. We have a client we were servicing from rehab local in Saratoga. She is originally from Maine and wanted nothing more than to spend the summer and fall in her own home in Maine. She was unable to locate 24/7 services there. So these two lovely ladies and UCC worked to get her home. They both dedicated 2 weeks (rotating between the two of them) to do a live in position all the way in Maine ! They are both currently still there and are scheduled to come home in December. There is nothing more compassionate then giving up your own home and family to service the wishes of a client we all immensely care about. Let’s give these two ladies a big round of applause!

Caregiver appreciation brunch today.

These girls are what makes UCC so very special. While it’s impossible to get them all in the same room at the same time , I cherish each and everyone of them present or not. Big round of applause for these incredible women !!

🥇🥇🥇CAREGIVER OF THE MONTH 🥇🥇🥇

Amber Delany! Congratulations Amber 🏆🏆

Amber has been with Upstate Care for 5 years now. She has been working in the health industry her entire career as a CNA and PCA. Currently, Amber is caring for several clients and wearing a multitude of caregiving “hats”.

Amber takes the initiative to go above and beyond with each and every client to advocate for all of their concerns and find resolutions to roadblocks. She communicates with UCC and family members of clients flawlessly and fluently. She has jumped in on a multitude of difficult cases and situations and handled them with grace and compassion.

In Ambers spare time she enjoys traveling, especially by car with her family. Family had always been Ambers number one priority. She’s a wonderful mother of 2, and Auntie of 2. She also enjoys nature , hiking , animals, a good cup of coffee.

Amber will be receiving a $50.00 gift card to the venue of her choice. Thank you Amber for your dedication and compassion to all of our clients.
