Happy New Year to my wonderful people! I appreciate all the support in 2025, I really do have the greatest clients. You keep me going! I want to give a special shout out to a new business owner in South Haven named Betty. I just met her and I feel like we are kindred spirits already. One interesting fact about me is that I am very selective on the clothing I buy. One of the big reasons are if its ethical and sustainable. If I don't buy American made, I buy second hand clothing or buy from our local boutiques. Betty's mission is my passion. She believes in a more sustainable future. What an exciting month for South Haven’s class of 2025! It is so cool to see so many students wanting a higher education in the healthcare field. I am excited to announce this year’s scholarship recipient is Gianna Bell! Here is a summary from Gianna on her upcoming endeavor’s:

"I plan on attending the University of Michigan to study movement science kinesiology with a minor/ or double major in biomedical engineering; working towards obtaining my Doctorate/ PhD in Physical Therapy through the university's dual degree program. I would love to work with collegiate or professional level athletes either throughout the Big 10 or even in the NFL, NBA, or MLB. I am so excited to continue my passion for science and biology and helping innovate the future of postoperative results and sports performance, as a Physical Therapist!"

Her passion is contagious and I am proud of her in her next endeavors!

Last week was such an exciting time for the class of 2024. This picture was taken at the scholarship awards ceremony. In 2022, I started a scholarship that encourages students to apply who choose a path in the health care field it either being a trade or 4 year degree. This years scholarship goes to a compassionate student who wants to bring light to others who are in desperate times. This student plans to attend Grand Valley State University to study nursing. We are so excited for his next adventures. I am proud to congratulate Shawn Torres! What a bright and kind hearted individual! 🎉

It's always fun getting dressed up and out of our everyday elements. But especially, for a great cause. The Al-Van Humane Society did a great job organizing the Fur Ball. It blows my mind that animals can be neglected when we have domesticated them. It really is our responsibility to take care of these animals. I did learn at the event that Al-Van has a fund for families struggling with vet care. How amazing is that?

I'd like to thank 3 awesome women for a great night.

Second, Jackie ( owner of Pure Salon and Spa). We always have a great time and it was fun sharing a table. Her salon and spa offers massages! I do recommend giving them a try.

Lastly, my wonderful sister. She came out from Indiana and we had a blast. She is the most passionate animal advocate I have ever met. She saves animals from terrible situations and I am so proud of her love and the care she gives. Right now she is fostering a pup named Millie and is still looking for her forever family. Interested?
