🌟 Get Ready — Advocacy Week is Almost Here! 🌟
April 12th–18th is all about empowerment, connection, and community, and The Bailey Center has a full week of impactful opportunities planned just for YOU!
We’re celebrating the voices, strengths, and stories that make our community so powerful — and we can’t wait to share this week with you. Check out what’s happening:
✨ Tuesday, April 14th – Self‑Advocacy
Led by Kylie Calhoun, this session will help participants build confidence, express their needs, and learn how to advocate for themselves in everyday life.
This is your voice. Let’s strengthen it together!
💙 Thursday, April 16th – Caregiver Advocacy
We’re dedicating this day to our amazing caregivers — offering support, encouragement, and tools to help you confidently advocate for the ones you love.
Because when caregivers feel supported, families grow stronger.
🎉 Saturday, April 18th – Family Celebration
In partnership with Words of Light, we’re ending the week with something truly special — a celebration of who we are as individuals, families, and a community.
We’ll be tie‑dying t‑shirts with each family’s unique words, creating colorful reminders of our shared journeys.
This is a time to connect, uplift one another, and celebrate the truths that make us us.
Together, we support one another through autism and all special needs as we continue to go beyond boundaries and grow in advocacy.
💛 Advocacy Week is a beautiful opportunity to unite families, build confidence, and highlight the heart behind everything we do. We hope to see you there!
