This past Saturday, Shemeka (Family Resource Navigator), was honored to be part of the Family Resource Fair, hosted by Dinwiddie County Public School's Parent Resource Center and SEAC.

We met some amazing families, shared all about what we offer at the Center, and connected with incredible organizations from the Central Virginia area. ✨

Thankful to join other amazing organizations around the state in this initiative. 💙

ASCV is proud to partner with over a dozen stakeholder organizations to form the Virginia Autism Coalition. Coalition members represent a broad spectrum of perspectives, including autistic self-advocates, families, caregivers, and service providers who commit to:

💪 Elevate the perspectives and needs of individuals across the autism spectrum, including those who cannot advocate for themselves;
👪 Assist families and individuals in accessing a range of evidence-based services and supports;
🍎 Prioritize each student’s individualized educational needs with access to a full continuum of educational options, including public, private, and specialized settings; and
🏠 Expand knowledge of and access to a range of housing options for individuals with autism that reflect their preferences and support needs.
