Want help engaging parents and managing family dynamics in therapy with children? Come and learn about using play therapy with families! 2 day workshop, Friday and Saturday March 29 and 30, offering 12 contact APT CEs. Offered at my practice in Riverton, where you can be hands-on with play materials and activities in a small group setting.

In this 1.5 day interactive, hands-on play therapy training, participants will learn how to integrate play and expressive work into their play therapy work with children and families. Participants will learn how to be attuned, flexible and creative in facilitating family play therapy interventions.....

I have had the privilege of hiring three excellent therapists this year. Paige, Addie, Ashley and their partners are just good, good people. They've brought so much to our practice. They are fun, insightful, creative, hard workers, eager learners, caring, thoughtful... I can't say enough about my trust in them.

We had a little Christmas party tonight and did escape rooms. You learn a lot about yourself and each other in these kinds of settings. Who is competitive? Cooperative? How do you solve problems together? How do you lose and win well? These are processes we help families with too, in fun and playful ways. Come play and learn with us!

Me and You Group Therapy Process

Are you longing for a deeper connection with yourself and others? Come participate in this three-part experiential group. As part of the group, you will pick from an array of playful figurines to represent different versions of yourself that come out in different settings - parenting, intimate, social and work relationships. You will explore the meaning of these characters you have chosen to represent yourself. You will learn to view yourself and others with curiosity and compassion. You will learn and practice communication that opens the door to meaningful interactions with others.

Thursdays, June 8, 15 and 22 from 5 to 6:30 pm in Riverton

Participation will be capped at 8 participants per group cycle. A commitment to all three groups is important to facilitate feelings of security and enhance the growth process for members of the group.

Cost: $120 for three-week group. Refunds not available for missed group sessions.
