Some days are just hard, and that is okay. You don't have to push yourself to be productive, happy, or "together" all the time. It's okay if getting out of bed felt like a lot, or if checking off tasks feels impossible today. Even the small things- taking a few deep breaths, getting some swig, letting yourself rest- matter. You're doing enough, even when it feels heavy. Give yourself permission to be gentle, to slow down, and to take the time you need. Your feelings are valid, and it is okay to honor them.

Changing your mind can mean you would rather stay home one night instead of going out, picking a different task to do, or even picking something different for a change. Changing your mind is a great way to explore new opportunities and try out new things.

Thoughts can feel loud and convincing, especially when you're stressed or anxious. You don't have to believe every thought or give each one your focus. Some thoughts can simply leave your mind, and you can move onto the next.

You don't have to do everything on your own. Asking for help doesn't show that you are weak- it shows that you are human. It takes courage to show people how you are truly feeling and to let someone support you.

Showing vulnerability doesn't show you as a failure. It shows you are strong. It shows you are self-aware. It shows you are trying to get better.

If you are struggling, reaching out is not a burden- you matter, and support is a good thing.

Stress and Anxiety can feel very similar, but know that they are definitely not the same.

Stress is usually a response your body gives to something specific- like a deadline, a tough conversation, or a busy week. When the situation passes, the stress usually goes away with the situation.

Anxiety is more something to stick around, even when a stressful situation has passed. It can feel like a constant worry, racing thoughts, or you feel like something bad is going to happen, even though everything seems alright.

Both are very real feelings. Both can affect your body and mind. Having stress or Anxiety doesn't have to be viewed as a bad thing. These are real emotions that many people feel, so know you aren't going through all of this by yourself.

Self-compassion means speaking to yourself the way you would to someone you cared about. It is allowing your body to rest, make mistakes, and grow without harsh judgement.

If your day is feeling heavy, try repeating this to yourself-slowly and softly:
"I am doing the best I can, and that is enough."

You don't have to be perfect to be worthy to care for yourself. You deserve kindness, especially from yourself.

Healing isn't always a clear path. Sometimes it feels like progress, other days it feels like you are back at the starting line, and that is totally normal.

Not every step is going to be a big one, but every step matters. Be happy with your progress, no matter how big or small it may seem. Remember: setbacks are part of the process, and there might be a couple bumps along the way. Even when you fall back, you can still move farward.
