This has been an interesting year since you left us one year ago, more on that to come later.

You have been showing up almost daily encouraging me to keep doing me and to continue helping others, especially the ways I helped you in the end. I kept telling you I wasn’t ready to “life” yet, that I needed to figure out me right now.

Then, this morning at the exact minute (9:25am) that you passed a year ago, you had someone reach out to me that is needing assistance walking her own mother through the same journey.

You told me many times, that no one could’ve cared for you the way I did and though I always knew from a young age that I would be the one taking care of you, I didn’t really understand until recently.

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MUMMA and I am so grateful that you still walk this journey with me. I promise here and now that I will make myself available to any beautiful soul you send my way.

Cherish Every Moment with Your Mother

It’s hard to find the right words after losing someone so close to you, but I want to share a reminder from my heart. My mother passed away a few months ago and in her absence, I realize more than ever how precious and fleeting our time with loved ones truly is.

If you still have your mother with you, please take this moment to appreciate her. Tell her how much she means to you. Show her love, kindness, and gratitude — because you never truly know when it might be the last time.

Never take for granted the everyday moments, the conversations, the little gestures. When they’re gone, it’s a reality you can never fully prepare for or understand until it happens to you.

Hold your loved ones close. Make memories. And let her know she is loved — today, tomorrow, and always.

I know you’re at peace now, I feel the unconditional love you are surrounded by and it fills my heart. Happy Mother’s Day Mumma, I love you! 💜🙏💜

Three months have passed, Mama, and it still feels like just yesterday. Not a single day goes by that I don’t break down because I miss you so much. You might think that with my work and the way I still feel connected to you every day, it would be easier, but it hasn’t been. I miss you in every part of my life. I take comfort in knowing you’re happy and with Dad and Michael, but I can’t help but wish you were here. I love you.
